Vilde Brekk
Vilde Brekk
Hello! My name is Vilde Elida Brekk-Bakke and I am 16 years old and I live in Brønnøysund. I attend to the upper secondary school, Brønnøysund videregående. I live with my mom, dad and my little brother who is 3,5 years old.
In my spear time I hang a lot with my friends and I really like to just chill, watch Netflix, Youtube, go to work, go shopping, go skiing or snowboarding in the winter, eat good food and listen to some good music.
When me and my friends are together, we like to be more than just two people together, so we often hang out in groups and have fun and listen to good music. One thing I really like to do is listen to music, I listen to mostly to rap, pop and other similar music genres… One thing I also like is to eat a lot of good food, so I actually cook food sometimes. I also used to be a lot more active, but I recently quit handball because I needed to focus on school. In the weekends I work at Thon Hotel as kitchen help in the mornings.
I am also really excited to participate in the NordPlus project because it sounds really interesting, and it will be exciting to compare the different countries and so on.
Greetings, Vilde.
Veronika Orlova
My name is Veronika. My surname is Orlova. I am 15 years old. I was born in 2004, 21. September, in Russia. I lived in a big town, Velikiy Novgorod, in the Novgorod Republic or Novgorodian Rus`. More than 200,000 people live in my city. When I was 12 I moved to Norway and have been living here for 4 years now. But even before I completely moved to Norway, I was coming to here very often (in summer, winter, autumn, spring, not only on vacations) since I was 6 months old. Because my grandmother has lived here for over 20 years and works as a translator. She has three higher educations. Everyone in our family has it.
In Russia I had a lot of hobbies like ballet, dancing, gymnastics, swimming, karate, horse riding, drawing and much more. In Russia I also went to school like all children. My favorite subjects at school were mathematics, history and English. We had a very large school, with a huge dressing room, a large dining room, where you could buy cotton candy and all kinds of sweets. But we also had warm food, like soups, hot dishes and desserts. There were also vending machines on each floor of the school, where you could buy chocolate bars and other snacks.
Since it was a big city, there were many restaurants, shopping centers, cafes and so on. My mother and I went to the restaurant at least once a week. I went to the theater and cinema with my friends. I had many friends in Russia. But the best and closest were only three. So, when I completely moved to Vega I felt very bored and weird. And since I’ve been so many places in Norway, I really like Oslo – as it reminds me of my hometown. Since age 8-9 I have been very interested in fashion, but since there are no shops here at all, I order everything on the Internet.
But what I really like about Norway is the nature. It’s very beautiful here. Many forests and very clear water. Especially on Vega! After this water my hair just shines. In Oslo and Russia, the water is certainly not so clean and good.
I can write, read, and understand Norwegian (of course I can speak it as well, but I’m very shy so far).
Vårin Utvik
Hello, my name is Vårin. I’m 16 and lives in a small city called Bronnoysund in Norway, I’m a student at Bronnoysund high school, where I take a specialization in general studies.
In my spare time I enjoy to just relax and watch some series. Baking is also a thing I enjoy doing with my friends, but then of course we also eat the cookies and different things we bake, so I also do some workouts. I don’t do any type of sport now, but I played handball for many years and handball is still my favourite sport.
I love travelling and experience new places and luckily for me, my whole family enjoy travelling so we have travelled to many different countries and cities. In the winter I enjoy going up in the mountains at our cottage and skiing.
Trym Granås Helland
Hello, my name is Trym Granås Helland. I am 16 years old and live Brønnøysund, Norway with both my parents. I have a sister, but she is moving to Japan to study. I play handball and train with weights in my free time.
I go to Brønnøysund vidregående skole and have general subject. I am part of something called topidrett, that means that school starts for me at 7 o’clock on Thursday and Tuesday.
I love to travel like my sister and I have been to Japan. I drive ATV to school. I like watching tv-shows, movies and yes, also anime. I have Tourette’s, but I do not have Tix or other symptoms. They said I had it as a child even though no one would notice today.
Torjus Gjerde Sund
My name is Torjus Gjerde Sund. I live in Brønnøysund about on the edge of the city. The school I go to is the only high school in my tiny city. At my school I have chosen a direction which is called study specialization, which is basically a continuation of primary school. The school is placed about in the middle of the city. When I grow up, I have no idea what I want to work with. That is why I chose study specialization. When I am not at school, I like to play games on my PS4, play football and play guitar. Recently I have not played much guitar, but when I am bored, I like to play guitar.
I am not very into sustainable development. I try my best to recycle, do not throw garbage in the nature and so on. But I am not a person who almost only think about sustainable development. Like what food I buy, how long I’m in the shower, when my phone is broken, I don’t fix it, if it’s cheaper to buy a new one I would buy a new one and so on.
Tiril Rennei
My name is Tiril Rennei (Gaustad) Strand, I prefer to be called Tiril Rennei, but Tiril and Rennei is fine to. I am 15 years old.

I like watching Sander sides on YouTube, Sander sides is about and made by Thomas Sanders, it brings up important subject and how to handle them.
I like reading Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling but I do not agree with her, I also like reading The Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi.
My Hogwarts house(s) is Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.
I believe in fictional creatures like elves, vampires, witches and wizards, fairies, gnomes, mermaids, sirens, deities, genies, ecs.
I want to be a teacher in the future.
Tiril Hamnes
Hi! My name is Tiril Hamnes, I’m 16 years old, and live in a little town in Norway called Brønnøysund with my mom, dad and little sister. My parents are divorced while my two other sisters live in Oslo and Trondheim.
My favorite things to do is read, draw, be with friends and listen to music. My favourite musicians are Bon Iver, Cezinando and Girl in red. I have a black and white cat named Kizz, and my favourite food is sushi.
When I’m not in school i usually exercise or work with operasjon dagsverk(operation dayswork). It is a solidarity organisation and this year it’s about helping fleeing refugees from south Sudan who now live at camps in North-Uganda.
I’m quite tall (around 183 cm) so I recently joined a modelling brand in Trondheim with my second oldest sister and we have lots of fun! Sadly, enough I don’t see my sisters that often so I always look forward to Christmas and other holidays we get a break from school. But even though me and my sisters live so far apart i get compared to them on the daily. It’s almost as we’re related!
Brønnøysund is a really small place but it has some positive aspects to it. The town has beautiful mountains and stunning nature. We don’t get a lot of snow in the winter because we live on an island which is right by the sea but all the other seasons are quite alright. Sometimes if we’re lucky we get more than 30 degrees in the summer!
Tilde Nordfjellmark
Age: 16 years old.

I also love languages, at school im learning french and I’m trying to learn german by myself.
I like gaming, so i often spend my afternoons in front of my pc talking to friends while gaming.
I’m looking to buy a car soon, even tho i have to be 18 to drive it, i will need some time to fix it up before im starting to drive it, my dream car would be a Plymouth barracuda 1970, but for now i will settle for a bmw.
Sivert Olsen
Hello, my name is Sivert Olsen. I am 16 years old and live in a small city in the middle of Norway, called Brønnøysund. I have two sisters and live with my parents. Both my sisters have moved out. I go to Brønnøysund High School and study general subject. In my spare time, I like skating on my longboard and being with friends. Some of my other hobbies are football and strength training. In the future, I would like to work about the body. I also enjoy watching football matches, and my favorite team is Liverpool.
I think working as a physical therapist or a chiropractor would fit me well. My plans are that if I get good enough grades, I will become a chiropractor. But if my grades turn out to be too low, I will just study to become a physical therapist. If this plan does not work, I do not know what to do. I guess I will work with something else within health or training.
Serina Vollan
Hi, I’m Serina and I’m 16 years old! I live in a small town named Brønnøysund in Norway and just started my first year of “videregående”/high school!😊 Our school is named “Brønnøysund videregående skole” and we are going to work together with the countries Iceland and Finland in the “North plus project”.
I really enjoy school, but in my spare time I usually hang out with my family, my friends or I am just relaxing. In the future I just want to follow my dreams! I want to be happy and get a job that I enjoy. I also really want to travel around the world and see all different kind of cultures, including learning some new languages!
I’m really happy to be able to work with the north plus project, generally because I get to learn so many new things about the nature, the different cultures and how we can help the climate, but I also get to talk with new people and really connect with them! I am however sad that maybe we cannot go to Iceland this year because of the pandemic that’s been going on, but I’m happy that they’re at least coming to us next year! (I at least hope so! 😊)
Now I’ve told you a little bit of myself, and I can’t wait for the project to start! 😊
-Serina
Sanna Helene Skipsfjord
My name is Sanna Helene Skipsfjord, and I am sixteen years old. I live in Brønnøysund, Norway. I go to Brønnøysund vidregåendeskole, a nice and kind of small school.
I really do not have any hobbies, but sometimes I like to work out. But most of the time I enjoy being with my friends, chilling or doing something fun. If I do not have anything else to do, I often go on walks with my mom. I would really like to take up on knitting my own things though, because I really love wearing big and cosy sweaters.
I am interested in sustainable development, but I do not think I am more interested then other people. I try to help with the things I can in everyday life, especially with the environment and the quality of education. There is a lot of groups with young people that that makes it easy for us to sign petitions and things like that on Instagram. Most of the time I agree, because it is people who are mostly in the same age range as me, and I think it is easier to relate and participate then.
In the future I would really like to teach teenagers. I really like politics and history, and I think it would be fun to teach it. But my dream for the future is to be able to travel a lot around the world, especially Europe with friends, family and by myself. So, my plan is to study in Trondheim, and maybe take an exchange year in France, or somewhere else.
Oliver Sund
Hello, my name is Oliver Sund and I am 16 years old. I live in the outskirts of Brønnøysund. I currently live with my mother, father and my two sisters at the age 14 and 11.
I work at a small shop in the middle of the city that sells boat and fishing equipment. I love doing stuff like cross car (Like rally, but a little bit smaller scale), Boating and fishing with my friends.
I find most things computer related interesting, things like coding for example. Because of that I do spend a lot of time at my computer when I’m not out doing stuff with friends or at work. We do also live close to the cross car track, so that is only a close walk or drive away if I want to have fun with that.
Not too long ago I took my licence for driving a moped and have been doing a lot more since that. Since I now can get to town without being driven. Right after that I also took the boat driver test, which means I can drive a boat with any motor if it is under 15 meters long. This was also great, as I could go out boating with friends in a bigger boat. While boating I love to fish, even if I am not really the greatest at it.
Ulf Riesto
Hello, my name is Ulf Riesto and I was born on the 14. October 2004, which makes me 15 years old. I live in Brønnøysund, and have lived here for about 14 years. I’ve been swimming for about 8 years, and really started training hard about 3 years ago. Other than that I’ve started running a bit lately, especially since our pool has been closed since March, although it actually reopened 2 days ago.
I wake up every day at 06.00 in the morning to ready for toppidrett which is a class you can choose and starts at 07.00. It’s basically just to give athletes a good offer for training without having to move. It lasts til’ about 08.00. I then walk about 75 meters up to our school. We get done around 15.00 every day. After walking home I walk with my dog, then I have something to eat. I’m usually simply on my phone at home if I’m not doing homework. Swim practice often starts at around dinner time. After that I get home and chill until I og to bed at around 21.30.
Sara Elida Strøm Hansen
My name is Sara Elida Strøm Hansen. I was born on the 11th April 2004, which makes me 16 years old. I live in the small city of Brønnøysund, although I`ve not lived here my whole life. When I was 10 years old, I moved here from Norway`s capital, Oslo. I live here with my mom and dad, my 18-year-old sister and my cat. Me and my family are very close.
I have tried different types of sports, but after a while I figured that they were not for me. I`ve tried athletics, handball and football. You could say I`m not very athletic. Now I only go to gyms. Besides going to the gym, a couple times a week, I like being with my friends and boyfriend.
Some interests I have are movies and music. Movies interests me in many ways, not only for the action, but the cinematography, soundtrack, deeper meanings and so on. Some of my favourite movies are Moonlight, Call me by your name, Baby Driver and Interstellar. But finding a movie with me is not hard, because I like and can appreciate all types of movies.
I also really like music. Music can bring out so many emotions. It can make you happy, sad, hyper etc. It also makes everything so much more fun. Some of my favourite artists are Harry Styles (who I`m going to see in February), Frank Ocean, Billie Eillish, Conan Gray and Lana Del Ray.

Muddasir Mohamed Abdi
My name is Muddasir Mohamed Abdi, and I was born 2004. I used to live in Somalia, my homeland. But moved because it was not safe no more, so me and my family moved to Norway.
Today a live with my four siblings, mom and dad. We have no pats, but pigs and dogs are not allowed in my house. The whole summer me and my family where home, we can’t go nowhere because of Covid-19.
I just started college, so I guess am a freshman. So far it’s been going well, we haven’t had any test yet. This collage is all about connecting we other people, and I really like It. Because of this its been easy to get new friends, and I am grateful.
But the one thing I don’t like about my school is that its so far, I have to wake up early just to make it in to school. But if I am lucky dad drives me to school, and that is if I am lucky.
And after school I get home, eat a lot of food before my practice. Mondays I have football, Wednesdays volleyball and Fridays football again. And on the weekend, there are sometimes matches, and if not just get my ass out and play some basketball with the squad.
Mathias Bendiksen
Hello, my name is Mathias Bendiksen, I am 16 years old. I live in Norway in a little city called Brønnøysund. I live with my parents and my two little sisters. I have also a cat, his name is Pepsi. In this school we can read books, eat lunch and hang with friends when we do not have class hour. I am not that good in English, but I love to play football and being whit friends. That is what I do on my spare time. I love holidays because I can do what I love. I can play football and hang with friends.

Mariell Nicolaisen
Hello, my name is Mariell Faciol Nicolaisen, I am a 16-year-old girl. I live in a small city in the middle of Norway called Brønnøysund.
I am currently in the first year of high school and I attend Brønnøysund’s high school. I am in the educational programme to achieve general university admissions certification.
I do not have any specific hobbies, throughout my life I have been trying out handball, football, gymnastics, theatre and singing lessons. In my spare time I like hanging out with my friends and talking to my family in the Philippines. If I lived in a city that offered it, I would probably be playing basketball or joining dance.
There is no sustainable development I truly desire for, but there are a lot of stuff I do in my everyday life to improve our climate, plastic and waste and hunger problems in the world. I do not throw trash out in nature and my family recycles. To help with the hunger problem, I had a United Nations app on my phone, where I payed daily to give a child in need food for a week.
I am still not sure of my future, or what job I will be getting. I do know what school I want to go to though, BI. BI is a Business School in Norway. I just know I want to do something with traveling and/or business in my adult life.
Marie Engen
Hey.
My name is Marie Alexandra Karlsen Engen, and I am 16 years old.
I live in Brønnøysund, where I am studying at Brønnøysund VGS. I got a pretty short way to school, takes around 10 mins with a moped. After school I usually got work, but at my spare time I love to play handball and go to the gym. I also love hanging out with my boyfriend. We live together in a cute, but small house.
In the future I would see my self maybe working in the military, as a cop or in the ambulance. I would love to have a job with a bit of variety. I would also see myself having kids.
I really hope my kids will not face any huge natural disasters. I am hoping that they will live a long, happy life, like I hopefully will.
I do not want neither them nor their kids to live on a destroyed planet. I would not accept it.

The school I go to is called Brønnøysund high school. It is still very new to me, because it has only been a few weeks since we started, but so far things have been really good. I think it will be a lot more homework than I am used to, but I will definitely do my best.
Besides of school, I have a job that I go to at least twice a week, at “Brillehuset”. Other than that, I really enjoy to train, to hang out with friends and relax and eat good food.

I have one brother, no pet and living with both of my parents. I can play guitar, I learned it when we had home school for a couple of months, and I was very boring. Um I played football as a kid, and in middle school I ran, in something called “løps karusellene” it is like a game where u run different distances against other people, and hopefully get a prise. When me and my friends hang out, we usually just vibe, watching movie, play card or just talk. In the weekends we almost go out every night. It is such a small town, so everyone knows each other. I will say I’m active, I hike with my family, and we like to use the beautiful nature around here, sometimes we use to go to our cabin.

Karoline Sund
Hello, my name is Karoline. I am 16 years old. I live in Norway with my mom, twin brother and my stepdad. My biological dad lives in another city in Norway with my stepmother, half-sister and half-brother. I visit them when I have vacation.
I live in a small city called Brønnøysund. I like it here, and I like going to school here. I attend to Brønnøy videregående skole. When I do not have school, I like to be with my friends. I like climbing indoors and in mountains. We have this outdoor climbing on an island called Vega, and I have been there 2 times.
I love to watch movies with my friend Oline on my spare time, and I also love watching series by myself. My favorite series I have watched so far is the vampire diaries. I was sad when I found out that they won`t be making a season 9.
I also like to drive. I practice driving, and I think it is exciting and fun to drive. Especially my mom’s car because that is the easiest of our cars to drive.
My favorite time of the year is summer. I love to swim in the sea. Here in Brønnøysund, we have this place called Svarthopen and it is a really nice place to swim. It`s cold but it`s fun.
Greetings Karoline.
Julian Fagerland
Hey, my name is Julian I come from Norway and I am sixteen years old. I live in a small city in Norway called Brønnøysund. Some of my hobbies; I love being outside and playing basketball with my friends. I also really enjoy just casually being outside and just hanging out. I also enjoy to train; I train five times a week most often. When I am home I spend a lot of my time watching tv-shows or movies. I also play games on my computer, some of my favourite games are: Valorant, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Minecraft, GTA.
I am kind of interested in sustainable development. I try my best to help the environment. For example I recycle, I turn off the lights in a room if nobody is using it, I try to use less plastic, I also live close to the ocean so once every 4 month I go down there to collect trash and plastic. There are many issues in the world, and they need to be fixed that’s why I think the sustainable development goals are so important.
I do not know what I want to do in the future, I just know that I don’t want to spend the rest of my life working a 9-5 job, that type of life just doesn’t suit me. I do not want to sit behind a desk for the rest of my life, and I do not think I want to have kids. I think that I want to explore the world in the future and see and experience new things.
Johan Thiab Brækkan
Hello!
My name is Johan Thiab Brækkan and I am 15 years old, but I will be 16 in two months, I was born on the 4th of November 2004, but I thought I was born on the 7th of December for way too long when I was young.
I am the youngest of 7 brothers, though four of them live in Norway, the other 3 live in Thailand, where they were born.
And the someone must have heard wrong when they were naming me at my time of birth, and I was named Johan instead of Yohan. (Yohan sounds a lot cooler)
I also live in Brønnøysund, Norway, and take the bus to go to High school at Nordland fylkeskommune.
I mostly play games with my friends on a pc or with my brother, who still lives with us, on a ps4. And *sometimes* go out and hang out with my friends. (we prefer to stay inside) Or if I get bored, I (rarely) just take a walk outside or just skateboard around town, not in when it is cold though. And if I can’t be bothered to do anything at all, I play with my cat or just sit in my bed listening to music.
Onto something completely different, I am mildly interested in sustainable development, though it’s not something I can see myself being too helpful in if I were to actually try and help out with ideas and that sort of stuff, though I wish I could be.
Izabella Szenes
Hello! My name is Izabella Szenes and I am 16 years old.
I live in Brønnøysund and I go to Brønnøysund Videregående Skole.
I enjoy listening to music, reading, writing, painting, taking photos and watching YouTube videos. I like doing creative things. I started translating smaller books on Wattpad (an online reading side) and I got to like translating so I do it as a hobby now. I really like kpop (Korean pop) and Asian series. I mostly stay at home in my spare time, I do not like to be in crowds, and I avoid it when I can.
I am not a really sociable person so it’s a bit hard for me to make friendships. I have a best friend in Hungary what is my home country. We moved here about one year ago so I cannot speak Norwegian yet and things in school are a bit hard for me. The language barrier does not help me and my introvert self in making relationships either.
I want to help change the world into a better place and I want to courage other people to do the same. I want to be an elementary school teacher in the future. But I am still not completely sure about my choice. I want to go to university or collage (however you like it) in an English-speaking country/city.
I would like to have a good life where I do not have to worry about anything, so I am trying to do my best at studying for myself and for my future.
And lastly, I am interested in sustainable development, but I still do not know enough about it because in Hungary nobody cared about this (at least in the school where I went). But I want to learn more about this topic and help the earth as much as I can.
Kind regards and stay healthy,
Izabella Szenes

Regarding sustainable development i try to live as eco-friendly as possible. I try to bike or take buses, instead of driving. I also use reusable bags when I go shopping for food.

Håvard Myhre

Halvor Ellingsen
My name is Halvor Ellingsen. I’m 16 and study at Brønnøysund videregående skole. The activities i do at my spare time is playing games, playing the piano, training at the gym and watching netflix.
I’m talented when it comes to art and have skills when it comes to drawing. In addition, I began painting years ago after I found out I was good at that too. I’ve made several paintings but, now it’s too time consuming and not one of my hobbies.
I’m very interested in physics, math and philosophy and my plan is to study physics at the university called NTNU at Trondheim if I get in. Otherwise if I’m to change my mind I could become an architect instead. Because I’m very interested in how houses are designed.
I’m very pessimistic about the future of the earth, about the climate and the plastic. I think plastic is a good thing but, we still need to get rid of it. The plastic bag proves that the humans is the problem not, the plastic but, I think it’s easier for the plastic to change and not us. The plastic bag is a fantastic invention. It’s light, strong, bendable, cheap and fits easily in your pocket. That’s why is great for economics and should encourage less waste but, we throw them away and because of their strength or rather their ability to resist decomposing makes them a threat to our planet. If we used them responsibly the story would have been a lot different. We can only the solve the problems but, we can’t stop the source of them because they’re us and we don’t like to change.
Eskil Bentås
Hi! My name is Eskil Bentås, and I am 15 years old. I live in Brønnøysund and go to the local high school named Bvs. At my spare time, I enjoy being with friends, playing videogames, and playing piano.
Anyways, what are my thoughts about sustainable development? Sustainable development, and goals like this for the future is important. I believe it is important that we leave the earth as a nice place for future generations to come, instead of continuously destroying it, but also make it a better place for the current generations.
The UN’s sustainable development goals are nice and all that, however I am not very optimistic about the goals being reached before 2030. We are doing what we can to reach them, but I do not think it’s enough. I mean, 10 years to defeat poverty, difference and climate change? I am sure we will surely get there sometime, but not by 2030. 10 years is still a lot of time, and it sure might happen, but I am still not very optimistic about it.
I do not have any plans for my future. I am looking forward to seeing how the sustainable development goals ends up turning out, and how the world will be.
Emma Amanda Meisfjord
Hello! My name is Emma Amanda Meisfjord. I am 16 years old and live in Norway. I live in a small city called Brønnøysund and I am a student at Brønnøysund high school. It is my first year on this school, and I think it is exciting to start at something new.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my friends. I love cooking, especially baking, something I often do with my friends. Right now, I am not doing any sport, but sometimes I exercise with my friend. I also like going on trips with my family or friends. I love animals and have two cats at home. Their names are Tussi and Tigergutt.
I am not sure what I want to do in the future. I think I will work with people, maybe at a hospital or a school. One thing I know for sure is that I want to have at least one cat and maybe a dog. I do not have any specific plans, but I am sure I will figure it out gradually. That is also why I chose to study specialization in general studies in high school, so I have all the opportunities after three years.
Elvira Sund
My name is Elvira Marie Martinsen Sund and I live on Vega. I am 16 years old and my birthday is the 5th of August. I go to school here in Brønnøysund (study). I choose study because I do not really know what I want to do when I grow up, so I have some options when I find out about it. My family is kind of spread around. My mom lives on Vega, my dad and brother lives in Sandnessjøen and my sister lives with her boyfriend’s family. I am moving in with some friends here in Brønnøysund, so I do not have to take the boat every day. I have a dog and two cats. The dogs name is Ida, and the cat’s names are trine and Torstein.
I do not have any hobbies that I know of. The only thing I like to do in my free time is to just chill with friends and eat food. In the weekends I like to go out with friends and have fun meeting other people. I guess you can say friends is my hobby. I am also a lot with my sister and her boyfriend.
Now you know a little about me 🙂
Ebba Pedersen
Hello, my name is Ebba Pedersen. I am 16 years old and live in Brønnøysund with my family and my two dogs. I have an older sister that is about to turn 19 years old and I love spending time with her.
My mother used to live in Sweden in Umeå, but she moved to Norway when she met my father. Now we live in Brønnøysund but we visit my grandfather in Umeå every summer. It is one of my favorite places and in the future, I would like to live there for some years.
One of my favorite hobbies is handball. I really enjoy being active and playing handball because it is a way to be social and workout at the same time. Another hobby I have is to go on long runs, but I haven’t been able to do this in a while because I have been injured. I really like hanging out with my friends, watching Netflix and going on walks with my dog.
Annika Olaussen
Hello, my name is Annika Olaussen and I am a 16-year old girl. I live with my mum in Brønnøysund, Norway, while my father has a new wife in Mosjøen, Norway. I also have two half-brothers, but they are a lot older than me. Both have got a wife, and one of them has two kids. This year I started at an upper secondary school with new teachers, people and everything. Two of my best friends from my old school joined the same class as me. We are going to study here in three years from now, and after that, my dream is to study Medicine in Trondheim, Norway. I want to become a doctor in the ambulance helicopter.
In my spear time I play football and go climbing. I have played football for 10 years now at least. Our football team has won many football cups and is the second-best team in Nordland county. We were the best team in that match, but we lost on penalty, unfortunately.
I also go climbing once or twice a week, in our brand-new sports hall, with a climbing wall, handball pitch and even more. You can do a lot of activities in there, almost everything you want.
In the winter I love skiing, both downhill and cross country.
Moreover, I love to hang out with friends and have fun together with them, especially when we laugh until we almost die! My favourite pet is a dog, especially a golden retriever, but unfortunately, I am allergic to it so we cannot have one.
Greetings from Annika.
Anders Oppegaard
Hi! My name is Anders and I am 15 years old. I live in Sømna, which is about 30 minutes away from Brønnøysund where I go to school. In my spare time I enjoy working out in gyms, play football and handball, but handball is my favourite. During the quarantene here in Norway I used a bouncing net to make passes with myself. It became kind of boring after a while, but in the end it was all I had. I also enjoy playing games on playstation with my friends.
I am interested in sustainable development because of obvious reasons. It important for us and future generations that we have a habitable earth. If we don’t act now we won’t be able to live as happy as we have the last couple decades.
In the future I want to continue doing what I like. This includes handball, gaming, and possibly working as an architect.
Amalie Gaard
My name is Amalie Gaard, I am sixteen years old and live at Sømna with my mom Matilde, her boyfriend Andreas and our cat named Kovu. I go to school in Brønnøysund, so in the mornings I have to take the bus very early, but I really hope that soon we will buy a house in Brønnøy city so I don’t have to wake up that early, like I do when I am home at Sømna.
I am actually from Trondheim. I have moved a lot in my life, so this is my 8th time moving. So, this is the 7th or the 8th school I start on. It was not that hard to start on this school like it was with the others, because here I know some people from visiting in the summer vacations. I have my dad, my grandmother and my uncle who lives here in Brønnøysund so I have been here very many times before. It is easy to get to know people in this little town. I hope I get to know some more people now that I have started at school.
In my spare time I like to watch Netflix series, hang out with friends and cuddle up with my cat. I love sleeping, when I come home from school, I could take a powernap on like 3 or 4 hours and then eat and do my homework.
Me, mom and Andreas like to go on walks. We usually go up a mountain or two. It is so relaxing to go for a walk and then hit a long warm shower right after.
I chose studie because I do not really know what I want to become in the future. I love helping people and animals, it makes me happy. But I am not that interested in the subject helse because of all the learning about medicine and that kind of stuff. So no, I do not know what I want to do or what I want to be. But I hope I end up in a place where I could help animals.

I don’t know exactly what I want to do in the future, but my dream is to travel around the world. As a job I think I want to help other people. That’s something I find important.
I think this project is very interesting, especially that some other students from Finland and Island hopefully are visiting us her in Norway next year.
Now I have told you a little bit of myself, and my hobbies. I am excited for the project.

Before I came to Norway I lived in Lebanon for about 8 years. Why did we travell from Syria to Lebanon? Because they liked the school in Syria and we heard it will become a war in Syria. My father talked to my mother that we will travel to Lebanon to complete school. When we travelled to Lebanon I was 6 years old and I started in school in second grade. I studied from second grade to tenth grade. When I was in the seventh grade my father got a massage from United Nations. The message were: do you want to travel to Norway? He said ok I like to travel to Norway with my family! One day the people from UN called my father and said to him can you come with your family in to United nations centre here and we will tell you when will you travel to Norway. They said everything about the travel and after a month we travelled to Norway.
When I came to Norway «Samna» I had to wait two month to start in the school. I started in the end of 7 grade and now I am studying in baccalaureate. I wont to be a pilot in the future, hopefully will that be my future job. I like to play football and handball I free time.

When I am done with school and then done with university, I would like to become a banker our maybe a lawyer, but this might change wile I am here who knows. I do think that whatever I choose I will base the choice on what I like to do then and there and not what I say I will do now.
